Kalyan Citizens’ Education Society (KCES) was founded in the year 1971 by the efforts of prominent citizens of Kalyan and the blessings of Late Shri G D Birla. His keen interest in the field of education and social welfare is well known. The objective of KCES is to start and conduct schools, colleges, libraries, hospitals, etc. KCES is always liberal and magnanimous in extending financial assistance for this objective. After the passing away of the doyen of the Indian Industry, Shri G D Birla, the mantle for carrying on his mission has been well taken over by his able son, Shri B K Birla under whose patronage, the Society is continuously endeavoring to expand its activities.
