Primary (I to V)
I & II: There is no formal examination for classes I and II. The teachers will evaluate the students continuously through comprehensive worksheets. No schedule or syllabus will be provided for any assessment. Parents will be given the feedback regularly during Open Days.

III to V: There is no formal examination for class III, IV and V. The teachers will evaluate the students continuously through comprehensive worksheets. Four Evaluations will be conducted in an Academic Year.

Open days will be conducted to discuss the progress of children with their parents.

Secondary (VI to X)
VI to X: The CCE in classes VI, VII and VIII shall spread over two terms during the whole academic session.

The pattern is as follows:
  • First Term : FA1, FA2 and SA1
  • Second Term : FA3, FA4 and SA2
Formative Assessment:
It will comprise of pen paper test (UT), project, assignments, quizzes, debates, seminars, MCQ’s, experiments, field trips, role play, dramatization, group discussion and presentations etc.

Summative Assessment:
It will be a written examination with specific duration containing MCQ’s, short questions, long questions, objective type of questions, questions on Higher order Thinking Skills and Value based questions.

The weightage of Formative and Summative assessments in an academic year shall be as follows :

For std. IX and X
  • It is mandatory for a student to appear in both summative assessments
  • A student should obtain at least 25% marks in summative assessments (both the SAI and SAII taken together) to qualify the examination otherwise he/she has to appear for a retest which will be conducted once within one month after declaration of the result.
  • The school will follow the promotion policy for class IX as formulated by the C.B.S.E.
CLASS - XI
  • The assessment of the student for the promotion will be based on his/her percentage marks in each subject in the following exams / tests.

  • In Class XI, student has to pass separately in theory and practical.
  • The student has to score overall 33% marks to be promoted to XII.
  • If a student fails in theory exam, he/she will take compartment exam only in theory and needs to score 33% marks in overall average.
CLASS - XII
  • The student has to obtain atleast 33% marks in each subject in All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE.
  • He/She has to pass separately in theory and practical.
  • If a student fails in one subject, he/she has to take Compartment Examination in the month of July. If a student fails in two subjects, he/she is declared fail and has to repeat class XII.
